Day 21: lunchtime

Well what a busy day. We didn't stop for lunch as I got held up at the confusing car wash. No point in asking questions as no one spoke English. At one point they asked me 'not to press the button'. What they meant was that the car was on a conveyer belt and I was too dumb to realise and kept tapping the breaks because I thought it was rolling.

I was up at 5:45 and we realised J had forgotten to 'keep an eye out for the tooth fairy'. Sadly he got busted 'checking her pillow' but i think he managed to talk his way back to safety.

I did boot camp at 6:30 this morning and then to tescos to get some card for L's birthday card we're sending to cbeebies. I hate tescos, so twice in a week is enough for me to go bananas.

I caught up with j and L at indoor play, then the car wash incident and then off to my grandmas. I've not seen her for 6 months as she got a down in the dumps, hurt her back and started cancelling on me every time we had plans as she didn't feel up to it. Really pleased to finally see her but she's changed a lot in that time. Walking with a stick, her posture has is more curved and she's more forgetful. It's sad isn't it. I even feel bad writing this as in case it got back to her and hurt her feelings. Her marbles are all very much there still and I feel sad that her body is changing so quickly. I can imagine how that would feel if it was me.

With J being off, he took E to football for the first time so i could go home and start dinner. She only went are scored her first goal! Typical I missed it
