Christmas Update 4

Christmas Eve fell on a Sunday and as we go for a walk in the mornings prior to popping in to BG for a Cappuccino and then croissants at home.  Then on to church before ending up at J and R's to sing karaoke with the family, a tradition we have been doing for a few years now.  I never want to take for granted the downtown advantages with nature just a few hundred yards down the road.  This particular morning we were treated to views of several large herons.  This is one that didn't seem phased by us being quite close and allowed me to capture a good close up.
