Tree down

A gradual job cutting up the main trunk, a mild day for January with John suffering from ‘too warm’ when I arrived. A pleasant walk afterwards admiring the moss, ferns and lichen along the way. Also a poor photo of a stag grazing in a wooded area, he moved off when the camera clicked as did the hind, not seen until she moved.

A good day for chat this morning and when out walking. The early daffs are growing nicely and a few snowdrops are nearly flowering. One extra shows the rotten inside of the fallen tree.
