It rained and rained and rained...

...pretty much all night long.

Plenty of water on the fields and water meadows but locally at least we've not had houses flooded unlike many other places in the South and East of the country.

My photo from a couple of days ago shows the River Granta on its way up, now it's really overflowed onto the water meadows. Good really, it's their job to absorb these floods and take some of the flow out of the river.
