I had a lovely time owl hunting today with my friend. I did get a couple of distant shots but my cameras battery was dying and I'd forgotten toput in the spare one.
It was  fascinating to see them.
We timed it really nicely as although it was a dreich day it was mostly dry and at times the light was just beautiful. We also saw a huge rainbow. And just to top it off another couple of owls put on a show flying round just as we were heading to the car.
