First snowdrops of 2024

The morning started off very wet but things gradually improved  and by lunchtime things had brightened considerably and we headed to Cambo.

The Walled Garden is not the place to visit in January but the Woodland Garden certainly is. The early snowdrops are beginning to flower, hellebores are in bud and there are some tiny cyclamen nestling at the foot of the trees.

By the time we go back in February the forest floor should be carpeted with flowers.
