Crumpet?

       I haven't h ad a Crumpet for YONKS - SO - was fair to middlin chuffed when my annual "Food Parcel" contained a few of the unused ones.
       One, perfectly valid reason, in my eyes at any rate, is the fact they solve the hard Butter problem.
       You take them out of the Toaster one at a time and merely rub the partially-unwrapped Butter onto the warm Crumpet before treating No. 2 similarly.
       Nay Damn!  I'll just away and do a couple, I shouldn't have mentioned them. Just F Y I it is now Jan5th. (Mam would have been 118, doesn't time fly?
