Mirror image

I wonder how goldfinches know whether they're looking in a mirror or at a friend. This was the only photo I took before topping up the feeders and heading down the road to spend some hours with our daughter. We'd had a bath and breakfasted first. It  was drizzling as we left for home, but nothing like the torrential downpours we have had. I feel for all those whose homes are flooded in Nottinghamshire and Gloucestershire. What a start to the year!
