Velocette & Vincent

A couple of bikes from the annual Nelson Classic Motorcycle Club Show.

A 1959 350cc Velocette Viper in the main Blip which was for sale at NZ$10,000 (£4,904 - €5700 - AU$9300 - US$6240) I was tempted but only till I left.
The Extra
Is a 1954 Vincent Black Shadow built in NZ with 1230cc engine, twin spark plug heads, 5 speed box and electric start. It's been modernised quite a bit and maybe I'm too much of a traditionalist to appreciate it fully.

Xiang Lun Kou update - it sailed from the Bay late yesterday evening and its now heading across the Tasman Sea and heading for Abu Dhabi at just 13 knots so its going to take awhile. I shall keep an eye on its progress.
