I do love AMARYLLIS, at this time of the year, when few flowers are about. They are so easy to grow & outrageously gorgeous when they bloom. How can a plant, so easy to grow, be so beautiful?

It’s been a few years since one has grown in my house, so before Christmas I went to
the garden store. They were ON SALE, so
I bought a bunch for family & friends; but, now I have forgotten what color mine is- -
the classic dark red, pink or that gorgeous apple blossom color, maybe.
