A bevy of birds

Yesterday was cold, the National Metrological Office  has put out a cold weather warning for the whole of the country from yesterday until next Friday.  I did a quick foray out to little Boxer's Lake to check on the birds and to the movies later in the day.  Lots of birds, the usual gulls and moorhens, Brent geese, Greylag geese and swans.  The photo is of a little posse all gathered together, handily for me.
We went to see the movie  'One Life', a heart warming story of a quiet 'national treasure'.  Superb acting.
