"Contrasting Venues"

The day started with a drive to Gleneagles and afternoon tea for two in the Hotel. A walk round the grounds and back in the car and drove back via Loch Earn and round to Crianlarich down the A82 to Loch Lomond and Dinner in the Drovers Inn. The Drovers Inn is an old inn used by the Highland drovers who used to drive their cattle down the side of Loch Lomond to the markets. The decor and furniture, in deference to the past, look as though they have not been changed or altered for a couple of hundred years. One of the staff wore a T shirt with Pub of the Year 1705 on the back. Good grub though.
