A Surprise Gift

This arrived in the mail today. What a treat. We were in Los Alamos during this time. My dad was working with Oppenheimer and the other scientists there. I was an infant so I don’t remember anything except stories told about it by my mom who was a great storyteller. She wrote “The Atom and Eve” and self-published it in 1990. Dad is not in this magazine but good friends Charlotte and Bob Serber are. And so is my uncle Ernest Lawrence. Thanks Laura and Cindy for this wonderful gift.
