A rose with many visitors
We had quite a bit of rain last night and also this morning but fortunately it was dry again by the time I had to leave for the sanctuary this afternoon. As I'd hoped the rain, but also the wind we had today, had brought the temperature down to a much more bearable level. Unfortunately it was also a completely overcast day and it was rather difficult to get any good shots after my walk with Kastard, but I did manage to take a few photos at the park from which I chose to blip this one of a rose that not only had several aphids on it but also an ant.
I was hoping to take some photos with the new camera of my cockatiel but unfortunately getting to grips with it is proving a little problematic than I thought it would be.
On the way home from the park I did some shopping but I didn't notice that I had a deflated rear tyre until I'd loaded everything onto my bicycle. Trying to re-inflate it didn't help and so I had the not so wonderful pleasure of having to walk my bicycle home instead of riding it. Fortunately there was a sufficient amount of air still left in the tyre to get everything home without causing any serious damage to the wheel.
Thank you so much for all your kind comments and the stars on my ladybird blip from yesterday.
