In Town
After everyone in our household having been to a different party of sorts last night, A and I thought a walk into town was a good option for clearing heads. The weather was cold and sunny and we enjoyed our trip to Castle Street, up The Mound, across the High Street a stop at The National Library cafe and back through the Grassmarket and along the canal.
Later on we watched the Banshees of Inisherin, which we hadn't seen before. A strange film, but a good one.
The photos are of the West front of St Giles, with a victorian Gothic statue of the 5th Duke of Buccleuch in the foreground. Also the canal with magnificent reflections.
