To Aviemore

Aye, the bags were packed although this time with as much parsimony as possible. Didn't want to repeat the C2C mistake of carting around loads of spare stuff that didn't get used. Headed along to Inverkeithing and caught the train to Perth and then the Inverness train, jumping off at Aviemore to grab some fish n chips before setting off for Newtonmore. Bumped into friends from the village who were up there with their van to work at the Insider festival.

Cracked on to Newtonmore - only 18 miles - got the tents up and then had to find some way of escaping the midges. The only places open were pubs so we had little choice to enter and sample the beers. Three Cairngorm brewery beers on tap so each of them had to be tried, and then tried again just to make sure we'd assessed them rigourously.
