Nollaig na mBan

What a glorious day of weather. Wall to wall sunshine. I had a lovely swim, and we had coffee and scones at P's picnic table.
A sauna in the afternoon with 7 lovely female friends. The guy who runs it now provides coarse salt for a scrub at the end and delicious body oils afterwards. As a special treat today for Nollaig na mBan he had little shots of hot chocolate with rum.
And now I am having a dinner cooked for me; roe of free range chicken on mature fromage à la Golden Vale with delicate aged presunto italiano on a base of mash with garden peas :)) that's what he calls it anyway
