Hopefull

They all left with much noise and excitement early this morning. I went back to bed, read a bit and then fell asleep until after 9 which made me feel a bit off for most of the day.

The weather was stunning, with the car deeply frosted over I took Islay on a short circuit of the fields behind the house. I will be a bit more ambitious tomorrow.

I cooked chicken pieces for supper watched closely by Islay. She got to lick the plate, she’s now sleeping beside me on the sofa which she isn’t normally allowed to do.
