Lonely Figure

The Lancaster City goalkeeper dwarfed by the floodlight at the Moss Rose, the home of Macclesfield FC. Quite a good game ended Macclesfield 1, Lancaster City 2 with perhaps slightly more than the usual amount of cheating, diving, dissent and unpleasantness all watched over by the vision of hirsute loveliness that is Robbie Savage.
When we lived in Cheshire, I spent a lot of time at the Moss Rose, following Macclesfield Town, as well as going to quite a few away games.
