The kit
It's been another day stuck behind the computer, but thankfully I'm out and about again tomorrow, shooting a wedding. The weather forecast is predicting heavy rain all day, always fun in a terrifying kind of way. Though I'm well used to the wet weddings now!
This evening I've been gathering up my kit, as usual, charging and cleaning and checking. This is my standard kit for a summer wedding (minus straps and bags), and as you can see I travel relatively light. I might blip again in the winter, when my kit probably takes up a small room! No need for the pocket wizards, light stands, softboxes, umbrellas etc in the summer, and no laptop tomorrow either because I know the venue doesn't have wifi.
Two cameras, a few prime lenses, a 24-70 backup, two speedlights with black flags, 20 AA batteries, 6 Canon batteries, more memory cards than a girl could ever shoot through in a day (well over 100GB), a portable hard drive and a simple IR trigger in case I fancy some off-camera flash on the dancefloor or my slightly temperamental cameras need a bit of help focusing in the dark. All set :)
