Well!

Every so often it doesn't rain in the Lake District, it gives us these inversions.  This one is taken from Surprise View, above Ashness Bridge and on the road to Watendlath.  Derwentwater and Bassenthwaite Lake beyond are not in sight as they are underneath the clouds.  
Another early start.  The road from home to Keswick had various levels of inversion, Bass Lake couldn't be seen as I passed.
It got busy, but it was a pleasant day.  If it was windy it would have been chilly.
On the way back from Watendlath the inversion was beginning to disappear.
