No sunrise at Al Majaz

Writing this almost 5 years after I took it (how time flies).

I'd been in Sharjah for about two weeks at this point and decided to get up at the crack of dawn to see the sunrise. Unfortunately my sense of geography failed me at this point as despite being on the east side of the Arabian peninsula the UAE's Persian Gulf coastline faces west, not east.

On the plus side, I found this lovely waterfront called Al Majaz (one where I'd subsequently spend many an evening strolling throught) with a crane near the dancing fountains. Guess there really was a reason to Smile, Because you are in Sharjah
