Chilly in Aberdeen

Drove up to Aberdeen to visit my sister in law (Mr PHL’s sister) for her birthday. Roads a little icy but otherwise clear.

A lovely chat and a play with her wee daschund Dixie before we took R and her husband out for dinner to a local pub. Her husband is recovering from gall bladder surgery at the tail end of 2023 so we dropped them back at their house just after 8 and headed back to our city centre hotel.

We took a nostalgic walk down Union street and through the revamp Union st gardens before settling into an old haunt, the Prince of Wales pub with a drink.
