This lot were removed from the wide carriage printer/plotter whilst trying to get it going yesterday, and all replaced with new parts. Ink cartridges on the right - it uses six large ones, circa £50 each when I last bought some a few years ago. the unit on the left is for collecting waste ink, and was the first thing replaced about another £50, again a while ago. Most expensive item that we fortunately had a spare from a previous printer that used the same type - in the centre, a printhead, which seems to be about £250 or more.
It did all fix it, though the replacement waste unit only has 20% of its capacity left after all the old ink was pumped to it, and the pipes etc. were flushed through with a load of the new ink.
