Reindeer passing overhead, in the Eastgate Centre, Inverness, early this morning.
Was in town early to get my flu jab. Cycled in, as the weather wasn't too cold. Had rescheduled the jab to today from last week due that lurgy I was recovering from, which was probably COVID. Then on for a much needed haircut, where the two ladies doing the early morning barbering were just back to work, and recovering from flu. Here's hoping they were past the viral stage, as I haven't had that since last millennium.
Next stop the Health Shop for some food shopping, then on to the Highland Council Service Point in the hope of finally sorting out a bus pass - yup, it's official, I'm an old person. It was no bother, unlike trying to do it online. It was a work colleague of similar vintage that said he'd been in to get his there, and I wish I'd known about it before. Have been eligible for just over three years. Should receive the card in a week, or a bit longer at this time of year. Shopping at Aldi, then head for home.
First cycle in just short of a fortnight, which was no bother, though I felt tired later. Legs were sore the next day, but that may have been after clearing a broken bottle smashed over an area on the Kessock Bridge, and then a load of branches from the cyclepath after the recent series of storms. Nice to be heading home in daylight for a change.
