I’ve got the sense of something growing
Not sure what yet
Just a seed
Or few
Maybe it will ripen
Fall
Take root
Flower
Maybe it won’t and the thought of it will pass
Before even tomorrow
Maybe these words are the only life it will have
But I hope not
Perhaps
