A cold and frosty Sunday morning.

The Feast Day of the Baptism of Our Lord Jesus.
Also St. Raymond of Penafort.1175.
It was 0c and beautifully frosty this morning. The sunlight was amazing. I went to buy the Sunday paper and then after some muesli and coffee for breakfast, I filled up the bird seed, mealworms and put out warm water because all the water tubs were frozen solid, including the stone birdbath.
Then I went out for a blip walk and clocked up 5745 steps.
We are now watching Mary Berry's Fantastic Feasts. Mary is teaching three novice cooks how to create a lovely afternoon tea. They are avid learners and doing well.
Call the Midwife and Vera are on this evening. I will record Vera.
I made a lovely vegetable soup this evening and it was very delicious and nutritious. I added fresh ginger, Vegan nutritional yeast flakes and garlic and cloves.
