Local produce
A nothing day, really. We came back from Tain, stopping off briefly at Black Isle Berries, which obviously has no berries for sale at this time of the year, but does have a range of local produce. Our main objective was to buy some rape seed oil produced on the farm near Nigg, and this was successful.
The drive was easy, in one sense, but also tricky in another. While the weather and road conditions were fine, the sun was absolutely blinding. I stopped again at the Broxden Services, partly to use the facilities and partly to give my eyes a rest. Anyway, we were back in plenty of time - to a cold flat. We had to put hot water bottles in our bed. Bar another quick trip to the supermarket, that was it for the day.
