Wren

We took a walk from Frampton On Severn, and along the Sharpness canal, where the land between the canal and the river was mainly flooded wetlands. This wren was hopping around in the hedgerows, and although it's a poorly lit shot the flood water behind gives it some definition.

Tangentially to the flooded wetlands, I did smile this afternoon as Sunk was featured on Sky news talking about dealing with inflation and tax cuts while floodwaters tore through the landscape behind him. To mis-quote Carville, "it's the environment, Stupid!".

I'm already bored with news of the allegedly upcoming election(s). The news channels aren't bored at all, of course.
