This beautiful variegated cactus is a birthday gift from Lucy and Reuben - never seen one quite like it before.

Yes, another year older, and I've approached this birthday with a certain amount of trepidation - three score years and ten, and all that...
But age is just a number, and I shall be counting birthdays in degrees Celsius in future. As a friend pointed out, I'm 21 today!!!

A good day. Some lovely gifts (two of which will result in adventures later in the year!) , and a nice celebratory meal at the Boshaw Trout with Tom, Lucy, and Reuben, and MrM of course. They all came back afterwards for a couple of drinks and a film. Perfect!
