Money's Worth

Tony greeted me as I returned to download at the Rugby Club this morning with, 'You've got your money's worth then!' and indeed I had.  Adel is a small woods but it's heavily green (fight in orienteering terms) and, although the planner had done a good job of planning courses which avoided the worst of it, my route choices inevitably brought me in contact with thick undergrowth, raking holly bushes and those long brambles which catch and slash!  I've only been orienteering  for forty six years so you would think I could do a better job of it!

Despite all of that, it was great to be out and, occasionally, to find the controls spot on!
