It was chilly outside today and I think I found one of the piles of snow that's building up after plowing street and pavement...
When I went outside today, I encountered my new neighbour. He wanted to shake my hand, but I didn't want to pass on my infection, so I told him I was ill. It'll be very strange not having my former neighbour living there, but that's how it is.
When I got to one of the stores across the center in my area, and had wondered around for a little bit, doing my shopping, I got a crazy coughing fit. You know, one of those when you can't stop and have tears running down your cheeks... Not fun in a food store! Of course I did my coughing with closed mouth and inside my jacket as best I could, but I could still feel people looking at me and suddenly I had an empty space around me. Fortunately it stopped and I hurried to finish and get outside. The shopping in the next store was better, cough wise. Came near my home and the sky was pink and beautiful.
Yesterday evening I got a call from my cousin, telling me that she and her partner will get married on the 17th of January... They had planned for a small ceremony with just witnesses, but then her partner told her that his mum would be so hurt if she wasn't invited, and then his sister and family wanted to come, and when she told her brother (my other cousin living in Germany) he wanted to come, and I said yes to coming too. It's on a Wednesday evening in the town nearby, so I think I'll be a bit (a lot...) tired at work the next day... And then there's the matter of what to wear... No church's involved, so I guess casual clothes... And they don't want any gifts... But I asked if I should bring my camera, which was a yes. So, my thought is to take a bunch of photos and give them a photo book later, with a nice card (which I've already ordered the supplies for... :D ).
Still having fewer spells, so I'm staying home a couple of more days. Thankfully, since I got sick on my vacation, I do have a couple of more days before I need to go to a doctor to get a sick leave thingy. I do hope it doesn't come to that!
