Cutting corners

In our region there are various grand projects that have been abandoned after the EEC has invested huge amounts of money in them, today we wandered round a country hotel that never came to fruition..... perhaps a good thing judging by the kind of glass they’d used in this door. (Big panes of glass should either be toughened- which break into thousands of tiny bits ,or laminated - where two thinner sheets of glass are bonded either side of a polycarbonate see through film which holds together when broken.)
