Sunset

The longest day of the year. 22.02.
The sun rose at 04.25 this morning (I am reliably informed... I certainly didn't see it!) Reached its highest elevation of the year in the middle of the day. Civil Twilight lasted from sunset until 23.05, when the sun reached 6 degrees below the horizon; this is defined as when features of the land can still be discerned.
It is followed by Nautical Twilight, until the sun is 12 degrees down, most well-known star are visible to navigate by, but one can still distinguish the horizon.
