Bath

Finally arrived in Bath.
Now face to face with the hustle and bustle of a city centre at Christmas time. Lights, people and lots of action.
...which continues into the night... of course. Christmas party time and people are sitting at tables outside (though they do have coats on). In Orkney shops and cafes close at 5pm, even at Christmas and there is definitely no sitting outside in December. 
All a bit of a culture shock, but exhilarating in a small dose.
