Day 6 - Travelling on to Carlsbad

After a quick breakfast in the trailer we met with Jen and family to begin our journey to Carlsbad, then on to Carlsbad Caverns the next day. On the way, we had two of the children with us and it was fun to hear them laughing and chatting in the back seat. Annie kept them entertained.
On the way, the Brown car overheated and had to be towed the rest of the way. While waiting on the tow truck, we hung out in the trailer. Kailey is sitting in the easy chair. Some were on the bed listening to a story. As soon as the tow truck arrived and loaded the car, all piled into our car and some in the back of the trailer. We made a stop at McDonald's for lunch and a chance for the kids to play. They are good little travelers. We were travelling when the picture of grownups in the trailer was taken. We safely arrived in Carlsbad in the evening, will get a good nights sleep, then the car will be worked on before heading to the Caverns.
