Gandering

Totally my fault but I didn’t do my timing well today.

Nice to spend some time with our guests first thing. They were heading out for a double birthday family day so I headed out to Park Road lido to get a distance swim in. The lido surroundings are having a facelift and the clock was taken down. My watch was playing up again so I couldn’t time check properly. I just swam and swam and surprisingly 1 hour 40 minutes later, I stopped. :-)) Great to swim but it made me late.

Rushed back home to do jobs and then out to meet an old friend and her husband who have had a really rough few years. We chatted a while as a 3, and then Sue and I walked off - we circled the park a few times as it got dark before heading home.

More jobs and then the guests and Dot.T and WelshLad arrived back for birthday cake and supper and a game … nice things.

Long full day but still the Christmas decorations aren’t down. Oops.
