Ewe won’t believe it

Sometimes it’s hard to believe some of the posts on the local village Facebook pages. Today was a classic… “There’s a sheep on the platform at Lenham station, can someone tell the local farmer? ”

The comments were pretty funny. Thankfully the local trains weren’t running for a few hours due to a signalling issue and by the time I’d seen the post a local farmer had rescued the stray sheep.

Someone had been sensible enough to report it via the Farm Watch app and another had contacted the British Transport Police. Pleased it was a good outcome.

Back to swimming this evening after a hiatus of one month due to the car and Christmas. I was pleased I’ve kept up the same pace. Timetable is not quite back to normal so I only had 35 mins so swam 3/4 of a mile instead of a full mile. Felt so much better for the exercise.
