Thank you all

Thank you for all the lovely comments, stars and hearts for my special blip birthday yesterday. It is so much appreciated.

Because rain wasn’t forecast, I ventured over to the Wolseley Centre, hoping the floods hadn’t caused too much damage. Yes, it was damp and lots of silt and mud. Levels were still high, but compared to our East Midlands neighbours, it really looked relatively ok. 

Squirrels everywhere, and a good range of regular birds, including robins looking for titbits. Today’s blip is of one who was happy to oblige. 

No sign of the kingfisher - river far too deep for fishing and he wasn’t around the other calmer places. (And Merlin didn’t hear him.)
