By the Sea

It's amazing to me how these shells (can I call them shells?) grow on top of each other. They know exactly where to a little wet without feeling like they are drowning or in the desert. Simple shot today, but the pattern against the water caught my eye.

In regards to yesterday's post, baby Fenix is still in the hospital. The doctors said this morning that he would have to be there another 2-3 weeks. Right now he's still on a breathing machine and the doctors don't know what the specific problem is. A spinal tap ruled out an infection in his brain (yea!), so more tests and monitoring will be necessary. On the good side, Fenix's grandma and grandpa arrived today from America. The extra support and encouragement will be good for the new mom and dad.
