A shopping trip today to Lidl, as my plan of totally using up the contents of the freezer has hit a snag - we can't live on frozen mixed veg, frozen icecream or icecubes. I've been making odd concoctions for a few days, but there are limits. In the store all the decorations were gone, but there was a soundtrack of a Christmas medley in English, which seemed somewhat bizarre. My other half claimed to have been eyed up and down by a woman in her 30s who said "que bueno", but although I agree with the sentiment think it was in his imagination. Later went for a pootle down to the port with the dogs.
