Fire

There was a fire down the hills from our house this evening. From the local newspaper (online), The Santa Cruz Sentinel:

"A trailer house and two outbuildings burned as well as about a half-acre of vegetation, according to Cal Fire. Firefighters initially were hampered by ammunition exploding at the fire site, which kept them at bay and left the fire fight to the air tanker and helicopter."

I'm glad there was no wind or it might still be burning, and heading our way! It's been very dry this spring. Rain predicted for Monday, though - looking forward to it!
