Fishers’ Rest

This must be a beautiful place in the summer, sitting just below Kilmadock old church and cemetery on the River Teith. In contrast to yesterday we met very people and one dog that Islay more or less ignored. From time to time her rescue background shows itself which is mildly stressful. A pocketful of sausages is useful, yesterday we ran out.

The weather was slightly disappointing, a lot greyer than it looks in the blip. Our trip to the Glen Ogle Trail will need to wait. And now the rain has started which will no doubt turn to ice during the night. The dog comes tomorrow so a couple of short walks around the field should suffice.
