The Royal George

HMS Royal George was a ship of the line of the Royal Navy, with 100 guns on three decks, she was the largest warship in the world at the time of her launch on 18 February 1756.
This is the sign hanging outside the Royal George pub in Todmorden.  It's slap-bang in the centre of the town and is closed and 'To Let' - and has been for some time - a great shame (see extra)
