Bearsden Academy 1958-2009

Travelled through to Glasgow tonight with my oldest and dearest friend to see my old high school, due for demolition this summer. It was such a strange evening which brought back so many memories. I struggled to decide which shot to use and was sorely tempted with Miss Petrie's policy with regard to discipline within the school advising, amongst other things, that 'the punishment must be inflicted with a leather strap and on the palm of the hand only'. Was also tempted with the long, dark asylum corridor shot but decided to go for the physic's lab with the original desks, petrie dishes and pestle and mortars. Seem to remember I fancied the physic's teacher as well....
