Transfiguration …

… by Giovanni Bellini—a magnificent painting from 1478-79 on loan to the Louvre in Paris from the Capodimonte Museum in Naples for a superb special exhibition which closed today.

We felt fortunate to be able to get to the show, especially since Bellini is one of my absolute favorite old masters.
