The back lane. Resurfaced and a great walking route during Covid days, long since reopened as a quiet through road for vehicles. An elderly neighbour advised the edges and surface were washed out recently at the end of the long gentle downhill stretch. However, it was possible to walk on an unaffected part of the route (we did); it meant we passed the home of a young friend of our family - they’d their second child yesterday, a daughter this time. Great days.

Some further life admin today; future pension matters and legal business. I continue to be impressed by the quality of civil servants and solicitors, although perhaps not life’s bureaucracy.
