Walk to Town

This morning I had to go to town on an errand, so parked beside Pembroke Park, and walked from there.  The flowers are looking lovely at the moment.  The extra missed the cut.  Much cooler today, +23C.  

This afternoon Scooby Doo headed away to return to the Milford Track.  Today she will drive to Te Anau, where she will spend the night, then tomorrow she will take the boat across Lake Te Anau, then a helicopter ride to her home at Pompalona.  She had a lovely break, not nearly as tired this time out.  We will miss her, but at least we can talk to her via Face Time.  Her next trip to civilization is on the 21st February.
