Two cats in a dirty window

Basil and I braved the cold this afternoon to trot out with Cecily. I had wanted to find out what was happening on the new Aldi's site on the corner of Leicester Road, but apart from the installation of some prefab buildings and the site being enclosed by crush barriers, not much. 

A large trailer was unloading a small bulldozer and a large digger was testing the ground.

I found these two cats in the window much more interesting. But it was very bright and sunny, a welcome contrast to all the recent gloomy weather.

I think Basil enjoyed his walk. I had to push a couple of green wheelie bins out of the way for him to get past on the pavement. It was recycling bin day.
