Parsnip soup

It's been lovely and bright but very cold.  I had lots of things to do at home as I have busy days coming up.  I got three loads of washing (almost) dry and cut up Christmas cards to make gift tags.

I also made spicy parsnip soup and  enjoyed it with granary bread - just the job for cold weather.
